Cleanliness Drive of Water Bodies was conducted by NSS Unit of GDC Women Kathua at adopted village changran.

KATHUA 25 April: Cleanliness Drive of Water Bodies conducted by NSS Unit of GDC Women Kathua was carried out on 25-04-2023 at adopted village Changran under the banner of G20 presidency of India. The entire cleanliness drive was  conducted under the able guidance of Dr Savi Behl, esteemed Principal of the college who always support and encourage the NSS Unit. The Event was organised by team comprising of Dr Arun Dev Singh Programme Officer NSS, Prof Raj Jamwal and Dr Rajni Khajuria Members NSS unit and the dynamic and hardworking NSS volunteers of the College.

Dr Arun Dev Singh  told our correspondent that our volunteers participated in the cleanliness drive of water bodies and Surrounding areas and their motive was to  clean the water bodies as well as the surrounding areas and spread message among the local people that cleanliness is an important component of our of life if surroundings are neat and clean then there are less chances of spreading diseases in the society and among the people .

The Principal of the college motivated the NSS volunteers for doing the Noble work in the interest of the villagers and added that such type of activities shall add imperatives in the society it would also help us to reduce  diseases ,hazardous and other health related issues by doing so it would also make our society healthy and Prosperous.
