CM Dhami conducts aerial survey to inspect damages due to cloud burst and heavy rains in Tehri Garhwal
Tehri Garhwal (Uttarakhand) [India], August 22 (ANI): Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami on Thursday conducted an aerial survey and field inspection and inspected the damage caused due to the cloud burst and heavy rains in Ghutu, Panjya, and Devling areas of Ghansali tehsil of the Tehri Garhwal district.
Speaking to reporters, Dhami said that he has instructed the District Adminstration to assess all villages where the incidents took place and directions have been provided to help all the people who have been affected by the calamity.

Further, he added that officials have also been instructed to alert the residents of the village of the occurrence of any such natural calamities beforehand.

On Reaching Ghutthu-Panjya-Devling under Tehri district, the CM conducted a field inspection of the relief and rescue operations going on in the disaster-affected areas. During this, he met the affected people and assured them of all possible help.
Instructions have been given to the officials to take the affected people to a safe place and make proper arrangements for their food and accommodation. Along with this, the officials have been instructed to speed up the reconstruction work by submitting the assessment report of the affected areas.
Earlier today, CM Dhami spoke on the relief work being done by the government and administration to mitigate the damage caused in the Ghansali area of Tehri district.
“There has been a big disaster in the Ghansali Assembly Constituency. The cloudburst has caused a lot of damage. Cattle have died and buildings have also been damaged. Roads have been damaged, and other government properties and private properties have also suffered major damages,” the Chief Minister said.
