College students conduct door to door awareness campaign in Ramnagar

UDHAMPUR, August 11: NCC sub-unit of 2 J&K Bn. NCC Jammu at GDC Ramnagar conducted door to door awareness campaign on children vaccination under Intensified Mission Indradhanush 5.0 at Thaplal village.

The campaign was flagged off by Principal of the College, Dr. Bhavnaish Chand.

 In his address, the Principal highlighted the importance of this campaign and health problems an individual may have if he has not received proper vaccination during childhood.

 During the campaign, the cadets displayed posters and visited different households at Thaplal village and informed people about the importance of vaccination for children. They also persuaded people to get their children vaccinated in case they have missed any of the scheduled doses.

The awareness campaign was organized under the active supervision of Prof. Aditya Sharma, NCC officer. Besides Prof. Suresh Kumar Dogra, Prof. Brinder Kumar, Dr. Monica, Dr. Om Parkash and Dr. Mukesh Kumar were also present.
