Colourful Function Mark Teachers Day Celebrations in Central University Jammu

Jammu, 6 Sept 2024: The Electronics and Communication (Avionics) Department at Central University of Jammu celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm on 5th September2024. The event, organized by the dynamic “Electro Vibes” Club, was a heartfelt tribute to the faculty members who have played a pivotal role in shaping the academic journey of the students.

The celebration began with a warm welcome by the event hosts, followed by a lamp-lighting ceremony graced by senior faculty members. The program continued with a felicitation of teachers, where each faculty member was presented with a token of appreciation for their tireless efforts and dedication.

A key highlight of the day was the cultural performances by the students, which included mesmerizing dance and singing acts dedicated to their teachers. The students’ performances were met with applause and created a vibrant and festive atmosphere.

Adding to the fun, interactive games such as Dumb Charades and Musical Chairs were organized. Faculty members actively participated, showcasing their fun-loving side. The event reached its peak of excitement when several teachers took the stage to sing songs, further adding to the joyous mood. Their lively spirit added a personal touch, making the event even more memorable.

The celebration continued with a cake-cutting ceremony, symbolizing the unity and gratitude shared by the students for their mentors. The cake-cutting was accompanied by cheering and joyful interactions between teachers and students. This was followed by a speech delivered by Prof Rakesh Jha, who reflected on the significance of the student-teacher relationship and the importance of mutual respect and learning. The event was coordinated by Dr. Sanjeev Yadav, Associate Professor in the department.

The day ended on a high note, with teachers and students mingling and sharing lighter moments, leaving everyone with a sense of fulfillment and joy. The “Electro Vibes” Club successfully organized a memorable event, creating a lasting bond between the students and faculty of the department.
