Community Mobilization Programme held at Government Middle School Jasrota to promote enrollment

KATHUA, March 14: To strengthen community involvement and promote enrollment in government schools, a Community Mobilization Programme was organized today at Government Middle School (GMS) Jasrota.

Gurnam Singh, Headmaster of GMS Jasrota, emphasized the importance of enrolling students in government schools   to get quality education. Khajuria urged villagers to take advantage of the free uniforms, books, mid-day meals, scholarships, and highly qualified staff provided by government schools.

Sarpanch Sudershan Khajuria said that the government is committed to provide accessible and quality education to all. “Government schools offer an ideal platform for our children to excel academically and become responsible citizens,” he added

The guest speakers stressed the significance of community involvement in ensuring the success of government schools. They urged parents to actively engage with the school authorities and provide support to their children’s education.

A documentary showcasing the facilities and achievements of GMS Jasrota was released at the programme to further promote the institution and its commitment to student development.
