The Imitation Game is based on a real-life cryptanalyst, Alan Turing. You can imagine him as an excellent programmer working as a government employee in Britain, who decoded the German messages during World War II.

That, ladies and gentlemen, was huge in the 1930s when no one could do it and he did. It is so amazing to look into the life of a man who is already under societal pressure of being gay and still fights a war, by sitting in a room. That’s the worst possible thing you can imagine for someone as smart as him.

In Tron: Legacy, we see a kid Sam who has been haunted by his father Kevin Flynn’s disappearance. His father is a famous game developer, who developed an arcade game.

What a perfect name!

Source Code is a mind-blowing programming movie. It stars Jake Gyllenhaal as the main lead. He is a caption in the movie who is inside a ‘source code’ program, where he can be put into anyone’s body.

Now the movie is on a serious note since the start, where the actor finds himself inside the body of a man, who’s on a train that is about to explode in exactly 8 minutes. He has to go through those 8 minutes and get exploded (in the source code) until he finds out who’s the bomber and stops him.

If you haven’t watched ‘Her’, you have watched nothing!

Her is a magical movie for all the lovers of this world. It is about a man, his loneliness, and how he tries to overcome it. He builds an Operating System that can evolve, and enhance its capabilities, and all there is a voice (The mesmerizing voice of Scarlett Johansson). There is an option for a male and female voice, and you already know which one is chosen.

9. Ex Machina

Ex Machina is a sci-fi movie. It is the story of Celeb Smith a programmer in a big company who won a luxurious stay at the CEO’s private villa. But when she reaches there she finds that it is a trap and she becomes a lab rat of human parts turning test. Will she survive?
