Cong, NC never explored tourism potential of Reasi, other hilly areas of Jammu: Jugal
Making a scathing attack on Congress and NC for ignoring the development and promotion of tourism in Reasi and other hilly areas of Jammu, Jugal Kishore Sharma, BJP candidate for Jammu-Reasi parliamentary constituency, said that the BJP is focusing on creating best infrastructure in this sector, as it will also result in more employment and boosting the local economy.
He was addressing a series of public meetings in Bamla, Kothian, Ransoo, Pouni, Talwara, falling in the Reasi assembly segment.
Jugal Kishore Sharma said that there are many places in Reasi, which should have been explored to attract the people for adventure and religious tourism but remained ignored for the reasons best known to the leadership of Congress and NC.
“The BJP government under PM Narendra Modi after coming to power at the Centre stressed on identifying and developing the areas having places of tourism potential, including the ancient and famous religious destinations, by providing better road connectivity, electricity, water and other basic facilities, which is now attracting more and more people”, Jugal said and added that today Reasi has got facelift as there has been rise in the number of pilgrims visiting Shiv Khori, Baba Dhansar and Siarh Baba, like other places of adventure tourism.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while making an appeal to vote BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, said that during his two tenures as MP, he worked to ensure that the benefits of development projects and welfare schemes reach every nook and corner of the parliamentary constituency and assured to keep serving the people with the same commitment.
