Cong-NC’s divisive, pro Pak policy threat to J&K peace: Slathia
SAMBA SEPTEMBER 27- BJP Pradesh Vice President and former minister Mr Surjeet Singh Slathia today expressed concern over leaning of the Congress-National Conference alliance towards Pakistan’s anti-India agenda, saying this is a grave threat to peace prevailing in Jammu and Kashmir since August 2019.
Addressing election rallies at Naran, Ghagwal, Taryal, Saptah, Sangwali, Botiyan Mohalla,Pandit Mohalla, Keli,Mandi and Baderi Villages in the Samba Assembly Constituency, Mr Slathia also accused the Cong-NC alliance of encouraging separatism and playing divisive politics to polarize the atmosphere.
Mr Slathia, who is the BJP candidate in the Samba Constituency, said the nation is still grappling with the historic blunders of the Congress in Jammu and Kashmir, the consequences of which the generations have been bearing in terms of death and destruction besides displacement of sizable number of population from their homes and hearths. He said the Congress is now reaping the fruits of its evil deeds and facing rejection of the people and the day is not far when India will be Congress Mukt, given its anti people policies and nation-shaming mindset of Rahul Gandhi.
Mr Slathia said that Jammu and Kashmir has hugely suffered under the Congress, National Conference and Peoples Democratic Party over the decades, with development becoming a big causality. Unemployment touched heights under their regimes. He said things have started coming on the track since the past one decade, especially after the abrogation of Article 370. The development and economic activities have gained momentum as per the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The path breaking initiatives have transformed the Union Territory into Naya Jammu and Kashmir with the people feeling real difference for the first time, he added.
Mr Slathia said the ongoing elections are yet another milestone towards ensuring all round development in both the regions and their sub-regions besides addressing the unemployment issue on priority. He lauded the valiant people of Samba for standing behind the Prime Minister like a rock, giving him strength to put Jammu and Kashmir back on the rails of peace, progress and prosperity.
He made a passionate appeal to the electors to come out in large numbers on October 1 and cast their votes in favour of the BJP. “Your vote and support will make a real difference”, Mr Slathia added.
Prominent among those present in the rallies included DDC Sudershan Kumar Sharma, Vice President Gita Bhagat BJP Samba resident Mandal President Naresh
Upadhaya, Sarpanch Geetanjali, Arpan Pangotra ,and others.
