“Congress a party of loot and fraud, has no other guarantee”: Haryana Chief Minister Saini
Kurukshetra (Haryana) [India], September 24 (ANI): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini launched an attack on the Congress on Monday accusing the party of loot and fraud and exuded confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party winning the Haryana Assembly elections.
CM Saini said that the BJP will form its government with a big margin in the State.
“It is clear that the BJP will make its government with a big margin in Haryana. People have understood that Congress is a party of loot and fraud. Congress has no other guarantee. They are just giving a guarantee of loot. The people of Haryana are aware now,” the Haryana CM said.
Earlier, Home Minister Amit Shah, while addressing multiple rallies in Haryana in the run-up to the assembly polls, alleged that there was infighting in the Haryana Congress and the party leaders in Delhi were looking at an opportunity to “loot” the state after 10 years.
He said people will again bring BJP to power in the state based on its governance for development, employment and women empowerment.
“Hooda father and son are fighting amongst themselves. In the BJP, Manohar Lal Khattar left his chair for young leader Nayab Singh Saini,” he said.
Shah accused the Congress party of disrespecting Dalit leaders and dubbed it an “anti-Dalit” party.
“Congress is an anti-Dalit party. During the Congress rule, the Gohana incident took place in 2005 and the Mirchpur incident took place in 2010. Congress has always disrespected Dalit leaders, be it Ashok Tanwar or Kumari Selja. Dr BR Ambedkar wasn’t given Bharat Ratna till Congress was in power. BJP has established Panchtirtha to respect BR Ambedkar and declared Samvidhan Diwas,” Shah said.
However, Congress MP Deepender Singh Hooda exuded confidence in people’s support to the party and said that “there’s a good atmosphere” in Haryana in favour of the Congress.
“The people of Rewari have decided to bring a Congress government and make our candidate win. There is a good atmosphere in Haryana in favour of the Congress party. People have decided to bring change. The BJP has done nothing in 10 years. Today Haryana is number one in unemployment, crime and corruption,” Hooda said.
Voting for the 90-member legislative assembly in Haryana will be held on October 5. Votes will be counted on October 8 along with that in Jammu and Kashmir.
