SRINAGAR August 26: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee on Saturday felicitated recently appointed CWC Members at Srinagar Party Office and expressed gratitude to Congress High Command for adequate representation granted to J&K at National Level.

JKPCC in a Party workers’ function presided over by President Vikar Rasool Wani felicitated AICC Incharge J&K Rajani Patil over her re-induction as AICC Incharge and induction of former JKPCC President G.A.Mr Tariq Hameed Karra (reinducted)  and  NSUI President Neeraj Kundan  in Congress Party’s highest decision  making body.

Kundan who is out J & K could not attend the function at Srinagar Party Office.

Speaking on the occasion, Vikar Rasool Wani expressed satisfaction over the heartening representation of J&K in CWC and hoped that the Congress Leadership in unison will be able to overcome the challenges and ensure that Congress Party emerges stronger in coming days.

On this occasion Wani highlighted the various issues confronting people of J&K and urged the Party workers to connect with the people and launch a vigorous campaign against BJP’s wrong policies to make them accountable and answerable to people.

AICC J&K Incharge Rajani Patil congratulated Party workers for induction of  G.A.Mir, Tariq Hameed Karra and Neeraj Kundan in the highest decision making body of INC while expressing confidence in their organizational skills and political experience. Patil asked the Party workers to remain committed to the cause of serving and strengthening the Party to the best of their ability and also laid emphasis over maintaining discipline in the Party ranks.

Addressing the workers, G.A.Mir told the party workers that he is a soldier of the Party, he will continue to serve the Party as a soldier and vigorously contribute to further strengthen the Congress. Mir expressed heartiest gratitude to INC President Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi for the impressive representation granted to J&K in CWC.

Tariq Hameed Karra expressing gratitude to Party for his reinduction in CWC. He told the workers to gear up for the challenges, especially forthcoming elections ULB and Panchayat and ensure that the Party emerges stronger.

Addressing the gathering, JKPCC Working President Raman Bhalla expressed satisfaction over the induction of G.A.Mir, Karra and Neeraj Kundan in CWC.

Bhalla lashed out at the Govt for suppressing the voices of common people and termed the BJP’s policies and failures to safeguard the interests of the common people very unfortunate. He termed the arrest of Yuva Rajput Sabha leader arbitrary who were protesting against removal of Sarore Toll Plaza. People are deprived of their just rights, especially protection of lands, jobs, Bhalla added and strongly demanded release of Yuva Rajput Leader without any further loss of time. Congress Party shall continue to oppose BJP’s anti people policies and fight for the protection of people’s rights, unemployment, tax terror and unprecedented price hike, Bhalla added.

JKPCC Working President further said that Congress Party won’t tolerate discrimination and injustice with people of Jammu and Kashmir.
