Congress holds protest Satyagraha at Talab Tillo, Dansal
Will continue fight vendetta politics of BJP: Bhalla
Talab Tillo/ Dansal, April 6: As part of the Jai Bharat Satyagraha launched by All India Congress Committee (AICC), Congress today organized series of rallies including at Talab Tillo & Dansal in Jammu district while similar other programs were held elsewhere in the province.
JKPCC Working President Raman Bhalla, Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma and Former Minister & I/C DCC President Jammu Urban,Yogesh Sawhney were the main speakers at Talab Tillo organised by Secretary PCC Sanjeev Panda, While Shri Bhalla,Ravinder Sharma and District President Jammu Rural Hari Singh Chib addressed the rally, later, at Dansal alongwth Th Romal Singh &Th Balbir Singh.
Sonika Sharma, Corporator, Darshan Verma, Janak Mehra, Satosh Bhagat besides Neeraj Gupta,Suresh Dogra, Rajveer Singh, Ramakant Khajuria, Sat Pal Spolia,Koushal Sharma, H S Baghi, Virinder Manhas, Patshotam Mehra, Darshana Devi were prominent in Jammu while Madan Mohan Dubey, Mohan Lal, Balwan Singh, Soma Devi, Hans Raj, Janak Raj, Freed Ahmed ,Mohd Hussain & others we’re prominent at Dansal.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhalla said that the Congress would do everything to save democracy of the country, alleging that the BJP-led government at the Centre is “willing to destroy democracy”. He said Rahul Gandhi has been targeted because he asked PM Modi about the Adani group . He also claimed that the process in which Rahul Gandhi was disqualified bypassed the functioning of the Election Commission. Accusing the BJP of running the country tyrannically, he asked how long BJP Govt is going to send CBI or ED to critics.Even if one has committed a grave crime, one will be excused if the person is willing to join the BJP,” he claimed.
Bhalla further said that the grand old party will do whatever it can to save democracy and until all those who engage in crony capitalism are booked.”Indian democracy is in danger, if a person raises voice and questions the Government, they will slap different charges to silence him or her,” he claimed. Every right thinking citizen of the country must come together irrespective of their political affiliation and safeguard democracy, he appealed. He said that Rahul Gandhi always stand by the truth and the people of India against the incompetency and failure of the BJP and all other such agencies which work against the people of the country.
Our voices will only become louder, and our bond against forces that disrespect the tenets of democracy will only become stronger, we stand with him, added Bhalla. He appealed party members to gear up to make a sacrifice for Rahul Gandhi by defeating the designs of the BJP.
The Congress will definitely win the fight against the dictatorial rule to prove that dharma will win,” he said. JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma said people of the country will have to come forward and fight this undemocratic regime. If we want to save the country, 130 crore Indians will have to come forward and lead the fight. It does not matter which party comes to power. What is of concern is the way our democracy is being tarnished and attacked,” he added.
He accused the BJP government of targeting Rahul Gandhi to stop him from exposing the corruption of the government. Sharma said BJP government had been shielding economic offenders like Nirav Modi, Lalit Modi, and Mehul Choksi. Instead of addressing Rahul Gandhi’s questions regarding Modi-Adani nexus, the BJP is counter attacking Congress by accusing Rahul Gandhi of having insulted OBCs, he said.
Yogesh Sawhney lashed out at the Vendetta politics of Modi govt and said that the this is worst ever attack on the democracy and constitution of the country.
He said that the poor and unemployed youth are being crushed under unprecedented price rise and record unemployment but the BJP is trying to divert the attention of people from real issues.
District President Jammu Rural Hari Singh Chib claimed that suspension of Rahul Gandhi was a defeat for democracy itself, we will support the Congress leader in the fight against oppression.”Democratic norms and civil liberties have deteriorated since the BJP came to power in 2014″, he alleged.
Sanjeev Panda lambasted the BJP for betraying people of Jammu region and all anti people , anti youth and anti Jammu decisions were taken under BJP rule.
Several other senior leaders spoke on the occassions.
Later a protest rally/satygreh was taken out in main Bazar of Talab Tillo, raising slogans against BJP and modi govt and infavour of Rahul Gandhi.
