Congress represents each and every section of society: Bhalla
JAMMU, November 06:- JKPCC Working President Raman Bhalla today made a fervent appeal to the people to support Congress for “steering Jammu and Kashmir out of the present crisis.” Interacting with aggrieved people of Bahu constituency, Bhalla said Congress has a roadmap for solving the economic and social problems and wipe the tears of suffering people. Support Congress party to get the roadmap implemented and making your dream come true,” Bhalla said. He also talked about delay in assembly polls, economic and social issues, unemployment and growing drug addiction among the youth.
Referring to the delaying in assembly polls, Bhalla said that there is no end to the wait for polls. “Nobody knows when exactly these elections will be held,”he said.He stated that Jammu and Kashmir is presently facing serious economic problems. “Inflation is badly hitting the people. He alleged that the unemployed people are not getting employment. “How many times the interviews were conducted but the jobs are not provided. We have social problems. Lakhs of our educated youth are unemployed. Their parents had invested whatever they had for the education of these youth. We have to come out of these economic and social crisis. We cannot come out with mere sloganeering or through lectures and speeches but with proper planning and the execution of the plans.” Bhalla said.
Bhalla also expressed serious concern over the increasing drug addiction problem among the youth and urged for a joint fight on all levels against this menace. He said the main reason for drug addiction is unemployment among the youth. The former Minister advocated stringent punishment for those who earned wealth by smuggling drugs. Bhalla said BJP has brought miseries through unprecedented price rise for the poor, common man, educated unemployed and daily wagers and each section of society due to unprecedented price rise by huge taxations, besides snatching the lands of the poor farmers during last more than nine years of its rule. The congress shall undo the wrongs of BJP govt and present dispensation and introduce the people friendly and various pro poor policies in Jammu & Kashmir thus giving major relief to the sufferings of poor, downtrodden and others.
Bhalla referred to the contributions of Congress party towards upliftment of downtrodden in every sphere including political empowerment from top to bottom right upto panchyats. He said it was Congress which framed the reservation Act for Reserved categories in 2004 which was earlier regulated by an SRO in J&K.He accused BJP of creating division & polarisation for vote bank politics and cautioned them not to fall prey to the exploitation of BJP in the name of religion, caste, creed & colour. He said Congress always believes in uniting the people and that is why in the prevailing situation in the country, Rahul Gandhi led the 4000 km padyatra ” Bharat Jodo yatra ” from Kanyakumari to Kashmir.
Bhalla said that all the people have their issues, which are related to their day-to-day problems, some societal and other developmental issues.” The people have little choice when it come to approach to a right person or the genuine office for the prompt disposal and hence it becomes the duty of the concerned person, especially the designated department official, to immediate provide relief to those who have approached the office with high hopes,” he said. He said that the Congress, as a public party, has built up robust grievances redressal mechanism at the party headquarters, where people approach with their issue.
Bhalla said “the ruling BJP was on a mission to disenfranchise J&K people with its selective policies and a coterie of federally-appointed officers, bereft of democratic bearings, calling the shots. The so-called Naya J&K of BJP, besides being low on the democratic mooring is also opposite to the idea of Naya Kashmir propounded by the Congress government,” Bhalla said, adding, “The downpour of fresh investments, job extravaganza, and infrastructure amplification is nowhere visible on the ground. Far from delivering on much-touted development promises, the people of J&K are continuously being denied their rights, and having a popular government in place is one of them.”
