Congress to launch ‘Haryana Maange Hisab’ campaign against BJP govt on July 15
Chandigarh (Punjab) [India], July 11 (ANI): Keeping in view the upcoming Haryana assembly elections, Congress MP Deepender Singh Hooda announced to launch a grassroots initiative titled ‘Haryana Maange Hisaab’ on July 15 to highlight failures of BJP government.
Through this campaign, the Congress will convey the failures of the BJP government and the announcements of the party to the public. Along with this, the party will collect suggestions from the public for the party manifesto and solve the problems of the people effectively if the Congress government is formed.
The initiative aims to engage directly with the public by posing 15 critical questions to the government through a specially curated booklet.
Addressing the media, Hooda emphasized that through the campaign, the party wants to engage with the public in a direct manner and include their demands in the manifesto.
Addressing a press conference in Chandigarh, Hooda said, “Congress party has put 15 questions in front of the government through the booklet ‘Haryana Maange Hisaab’. We will make these questions reach the people through door-to-door campaign. We will also ask for the feedback from people. We will ask their expectations from the Congress. It was the mindset of Rahul Gandhi when he said that we should include people’s feedback in our manifesto”.
“We will also ask for people’s opinions that after the Congress government comes to the state, what will be their expectations. Our manifesto will be people’s manifesto,” he added.
Meanwhile, in another big development ahead of the state assembly elections in Haryana, The Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) have announced their coalition.
