Cooperative department organises training cum awareness program in Majalta

UDHAMPUR, JANUARY 5: The Department of Cooperatives, in collaboration with IFFCO, conducted a comprehensive training cum awareness Program in Block Majalta, elucidating the functioning of cooperatives across various sectors.

The event featured insights from Nigam Pakhetra, the Field Officer of IFFCO, who shared valuable information about the utilization of Nano urea and its accessibility at Fertilizer centers facilitated by cooperatives in Block Majalta.

The training garnered participation from secretaries of all the PACS in Block Majalta, PRIs, IFFCO officials, ARCS Block Majalta Neeraj Wadhera, and staff. Following the informative sessions, officials extended their support by distributing blankets to individuals with disabilities, widows, and other vulnerable members of the community.

The program concluded on a positive note with ARCS Neeraj Wadhera highlighting the remarkable achievements of the Cooperative Department in the block. Additionally, he raised awareness about the recently inaugurated PM Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendras at PHC Bharnara and PHC Mansar, emphasizing their role in ensuring the availability, accessibility, and affordability of medicines for all.
