Copper futures gain on higher demand
New Delhi, Oct 18 (PTI) Copper prices on Wednesday rose 0.64 per cent to Rs 703.60 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in October traded higher by Rs 4.50 or 0.64 per cent at Rs 703.60 per kg in a business turnover of 7,257 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
