Crackdown against drugs: Peddler booked with approx 17 Kg Poppy Straw in Samba

SAMBA, 17 April: Continuing its drive against the narcotics smugglers, Samba Police has apprehended a narcotics smuggler and recovered approximately 17 Kgs of Poppy Straw for his possession in the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba.

A case under NDPS Act stands registered and further investigation is being taken up.
