Crackdown in Baramulla: 4 held, four tractors seized for illegal mining

In a move to curb illegal mining activities, the Baramulla Police seized four tractors and apprehended their drivers on Sunday, April 21st, 2024.

The operation was carried out under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Baramulla, SDPO Kreeri, along with In-charges of Police Posts (IC PP) from Delina and Wagoora.

FIRs (First Information Reports) have been registered against the accused under relevant sections of the law at Police Station Kreeri and PS Baramulla. Investigations into the case are currently underway.
