Crackdown on drugs & liquor: Reasi police apprehend bootlegger, seize illicit liquor
Reasi Police, continuing their crackdown on drug abuse and illicit liquor smuggling, arrested a man and seized illegal liquor from his possession.
During a routine check at the Balini Police Check Post, officers apprehended Bansi Lal alias Bittu, a resident of Dhirti Katra in Reasi district. They found 18 quarter bottles (250 ml each) of JK Special Desi Whisky on him.

A case (FIR No. 107/2024) under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered at Katra Police Station. The investigation is ongoing.
