Crackdown on illegal mining: 3 arrested, 2 tippers & 1 tractor seized in Kunzer, Baramulla

In a move to curb illegal mining activities, the Baramulla police seized two tippers and one tractor involved in the extraction of minerals in the Kunzer area. Three drivers were also arrested in the operation.

According to police sources, the seized vehicles were found transporting illegally mined minerals from sensitive areas of Kunzer. Acting swiftly on received intelligence, law enforcement personnel intercepted the vehicles and apprehended the drivers involved in the illicit trade.

The seized vehicles and arrested individuals have been taken into custody for further investigation.
