Day 09:Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra witnesses enthusiastic participation in 6 panchayts of Kishtwar District
KISHTWAR, December 06: The ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) campaign today on 9th Day achieved a significant milestone as it traversed through Chingam A and Chingam B in Block Inderwal, along with Loundari and Tatani in Drabshalla, and Jar and Affani in Paddar, witnessing fervent engagement from citizens, Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), and district-level officers in Kishtwar.
Enthusiastic participation marked the visitation of Information, Education, and Communication vans in the pivotal Panchayats, fostering awareness about pivotal government schemes among the populace.
The day unfolded with proactive health camps, community pledges for holistic development,sharing of benefits from various schemes by benificiaries, and extensive outreach initiatives organized within these Panchayats. Essential services were rendered on-site, ensuring immediate accessibility and benefit to the masses.
A significant highlight of the day was the distribution of Ayushman Bharat Golden Cards, overseen by Dr. M. Y. Mir, Chief Medical Officer of Kishtwar at Panchayat Chingam A and Chingam B.
Additionally, beneficiaries were facilitated with essential resources, including Kisan Credit Cards (KCC), Ujjwala Scheme connections, and Bank ATM cards, in a seamless process during the event.
Complementing these efforts, a dedicated Aadhaar Card camp was set up, providing valuable assistance to citizens in acquiring these essential identification documents.
