Day-long job fair held GHSS Rahmoo Pulwama

PULWAMA, JANUARY 2: In a proactive move to address unemployment and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth, the District Employment & Counselling Centre (DE&CC) Pulwama, orchestrated a successful day-long Job Fair at Government Higher Secondary School Rahmoo, Pulwama, under the guidance of District Administration Pulwama.

The event, featuring active participation from 08 companies, provided a significant platform for job seekers to connect with private sector representatives, fostering meaningful interactions.

The Job Fair witnessed an overwhelming response from Pulwama’s youth, with 270 participants actively engaging with the participating companies. Notably, 65 participants were shortlisted for the next round, illustrating the fair’s success in linking job seekers with potential employers.

Representatives from private sector companies used the opportunity to apprise participants of various job opportunities within their organizations. Job seekers expressed their satisfaction with the organizers, thanking them for creating a valuable platform to interact with job providers and recruiters.

This initiative by the District Administration Pulwama reaffirms its commitment to creating sustainable employment opportunities for the region’s youth. Such proactive measures align with the overarching goal of “Berozgar Mukht Pulwama,” demonstrating the Administration’s dedication to fostering economic growth and empowering the local workforce.
