Assess ongoing Special Summary Revision of Panchayat Electoral Rolls
BANDIPORA, JANUARY 31: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel Ul Rehman Rather, who is also District Election Officer (DEO) Bandipora, on Wednesday held a meeting to examine the groundwork for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024.
The meeting also took a comprehensive review of the ongoing Special Summary Revision of Panchayat electoral rolls.
The meeting discussed threadbare preparations being put in place for the upcoming democratic exercise. It also held detailed deliberations on the Transport Plan taking into account all aspects of the election process.
DC emphasized the significance of a well-organized electoral process, highlighting the need for accuracy and inclusivity in the electoral rolls.
During the meeting, detailed discussions transpired regarding strategies to enhance voter awareness, streamline administrative processes, and address potential challenges.
