DC Bandipora visits Fire Victims of Dawar

BANDIPORA, OCTOBER 17: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri on Thursday conducted a visit to the fire-affected families in Dawar, Gurez, following a devastating fire that impacted many commercial structures and residential House.

During the visit, the DC met victims to assess the situation and offer support.

He said, “We understand the hardships faced by the families and are here to ensure they receive the necessary aid for their recovery and rehabilitation.”
Emphasizing the importance of swift action, the DC said that essential resources, including food and other essentials were delivered promptly to help the affected.

He instructed the officers for proper assessment of damages.

During the visit, the DC was accompanied by SDM Gurez, Mukhtar Ahmad, Tehsildar and others.
