DC B’la distributed Relief Cheques among Boniyar accident Victims
BONIYAR, FEBRUARY 10: The Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa visited Boniyar to extend support to the victim families of a recent accident in the Boniyar area. The DC accompanied by SDM Uri and SDPO distributed relief cheques worth rupees 55 lacs among the affected individuals and families.
On the occasion, DC expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor (LG) of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for the timely sanction of relief funds. The swift action taken by the LG facilitated the immediate provision of assistance to the affected individuals and families.
Expressing solidarity with the victims, the DC assured them that the government is fully committed to providing all possible assistance during this difficult time. The relief checks aim to alleviate the immediate financial burden caused by the unfortunate incident.
In addition to the financial support, the DC emphasized the importance of ongoing efforts to enhance safety measures on the roads to prevent future accidents.
