DC B’pora chairs DRAC meeting; approves 12 cases, 02 cases sent for reassessment
BANDIPORA, JANUARY 18: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel Ul Rehman Rather on Thursday chaired a meeting of District Rent Assessment Committee (DRAC) at Mini-Secretariat, Bandipora.
The DRAC approved 12 rent cases pertaining to different departments, including Handicrafts, Industries, Social Welfare, Education, FCS&CA, Health, ISM, and revenue.
The Committee discussed the fixation of rent of various structures in which various government offices are functioning across the district.
In all, 14 cases were taken up for consideration in the meeting, out of which 12 cases were approved and 02 were sent for reassessment.
Addressing the meeting, the DC enjoined upon officers to pay rent to the concerned owners of land and structures on time and ensure the safety of the government/ rented accommodation.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Shabir Ahmad Wani, Chief Planning Officer Mohd Maqbool, Superintending Engineer R&B, and other concerned officers of various departments.
