DC Budgam participates in Gram Sabha at Panchayat Halqa Hakermulla, Soibugh

BUDGAM, January 02: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, S F Hamid today visited Panchayat Halqa Hakermulla of Block Soibugh to review progress of developmental activities and redressal of public grievances.

At the outset, Sarpanch Ashraf Azad, Panches and locals raised their issues with the DC.

The DC stressed on speedy work execution on Community Hall, Amrit Sarovar, playground and other projects in the area.

He called for carrying out improvement works in HT, LT lines and instructed the Social Welfare Office to conduct house to house surveys covering all eligible under various welfare schemes.

He said that no genuine beneficiary shall be left out of the welfare schemes including Old Age and Widow Pension and PMAY in the village.

Stressing on the robust development of the area, the DC assured that all genuine demands related to road development, drainage, potable water supply and other shall be taken up for prompt redressal.

Stressing on cleanliness, the DC urged locals to ensure complete ban on polythene and single use plastic besides proper disposal of garbage.

ACP Budgam, BDO Soibugh and other officers, officials were also present on the occasion.
