DC Budgam reviews Revenue related matters
Stresses on conducting revenue facilitation camps, digitisation of Jamabandis, streamlining of Record rooms & timely disposal under PSGA
BUDGAM, FEBRUARY 07: The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Budgam, Akshay Labroo today chaired Revenue related meeting to review functioning of the Revenue services in all Tehsils at Conference Hall, Budgam.
At the outset, the DC instructed the concerned to clear pendency under various heads and prompt service delivery to the general public at all Revenue offices across the district.
He stressed on proper record room streamlining, file indexing and prompt case disposals at Revenue offices for convenience of the general public.
He instructed all Tehsildars to conduct Revenue facilitation camps at each Patwar Halqa for better Revenue services to the people at their doorsteps.
Instructions were given to ACR Budgam and concerned SDMs to conduct random checks to assess rejected and reverted cases under Public Services Guarantee Act in their respective areas.
Acquiring fireproof lockers, racks and other necessary infrastructure for safe custody of records was also discussed during the meeting.
Earlier, the DC also reviewed the status of disposal of land acquisition related cases, fencing of State land, disposal of cases on Revenue Court Cases Management Portal, action taken on RDA cases, land issues relating to infrastructure projects, disposal of inheritance mutations, maintenance of stock registry and other related file records at Revenue offices.
The DC also instructed concerned Revenue officials to check availability of assured minimum facility at designated draft polling stations in all Tehsils.
The meeting was attended by ACR Budgam, SDMs, concerned Tehsildars, Dy.DEO and concerned Revenue officials.
