DC Doda chairs BOCA meeting of Bhadarwah Development Authority

Directs CEO to hold monthly meetings for timely decision of applications

DODA, April 27: The Bhadarwah Development Authority (BDA) today convened the meeting of the Building Operation Controlling Authority (BOCA) to discuss cases pending for approval.

The meeting was chaired by District Development Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Paul Mahajan as per powers vested under the Control of Building Operation Act, 1988.

During the meeting 114 cases were discussed out of which 15 cases were approved and 13 cases were referred for clarification, while 23 cases were reverted back to applicants for completing the necessary formalities and 63 cases were rejected.

The DC directed CEO Bhadarwah Development Authority to convene regular monthly meetings of BOCA to decide the applications of the citizens in a time bound manner.

The meeting was also attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhadarwah, Chief Executive Officer BDA, Divisional Forest Officer Bhadarwah and a representative of the Town Planner, Udhampur.
