DC Doda distributes election cards among newly enrolled voters
DODA, May 03: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Paul Mahajan, distributed new Election Photo Identity Cards (EPIC) to newly enrolled male and female voters as part of the special summary revision under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program.
The distribution took place in the Commissioner’s office chamber and was attended by several officials, including the Deputy District Election Officer Doda, Shri Amresh Kotwal, and Election Naib Tehsildar (ENT), Angrez Singh Jasrotia. The Commissioner urged the eligible voters who have not yet enrolled to do so and become active participants in strengthening the democratic system.
The event was a part of a larger effort to promote voter education and participation in elections. The SVEEP program aims to increase the number of voters and ensure their active participation in the democratic process. By distributing EPIC cards to newly enrolled voters, the Commissioner hopes to encourage more people to enroll and exercise their right to vote.
