DC Doda inspects installation of Modified Crash Barriers at Assar Accident Spot
DODA, JANUARY 11: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, conducted a visit to the Assar and Bagger site areas of Doda district to inspect the ongoing installation of Modified Crash Barriers. The installation is being carried out at the site of a previous ill-fated accident in Assar to enhance road safety and prevent future mishaps.

The Modified Crash Barriers are being used for the first time in Doda district. These advanced crash barriers are designed with a special V-notch to effectively redirect vehicles after impact, ensuring better safety for road users.
Compared to conventional W-Beam barriers, the Modified Thrie Beam Crash Barriers offer superior impact resistance, providing a robust solution to mitigate the risks of accidents on challenging terrains and accident-prone zones. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of adopting modern safety measures and commended the efforts to prioritize the safety of commuters in the region.
