DC Doda reviews performance of Revenue Department
Asks officers to remain accessible to people
DODA, DECEMBER 30: Deputy Commissioner Doda Vishesh Paul Mahajan today chaired a meeting of key Officials of the revenue department here in the DC office to review their performance under various priority indicators.
Threadbare discussion was held on the key indicators which includes latest position of Reconstruction of Missing record/ Massives; Implementation of online services; Progress of delineation of Gair Mumkin Khads; Physical eviction of State/ Common / Kacharie/ Roshni land; Details of Revenue Court cases; Identification of land for Revenue Buildings; My Town My Pride Programme; Aap Ka Tehsildar Apkey Gaon Mai; Attestation of pending Mutations; Details of Stone/Hot/ Wet Mix Plants operating in the district; Utilisation of funds under District Capex & funds for printing of Land Passbooks and Pending Land Acquisition cases.
The DC complimented SDM Gandoh Arun Kumar Badyal and Tehsildar Gandoh for their tireless efforts in opening and starting work on various vital held up projects in their jurisdiction.
The DC directed all the Revenue Officers to remain available/ accessible to the public in office, on telephone/ Mobile and through Wattsapp and other means of social media, especially during winter months. He reiterated that public services and grievances redressal must be our foremost priority.
The DC passed strict directions to all the Tehsildars to expedite the anti encroachment drives. On the pendency of revenue court cases, the DC has asked the revenue officers to speed up the disposal and clear the current pendency by 31st of March 2023. The officers were also directed to identify land for Revenue buildings immediately so that the process of creation of revenue office complexes in all sub divisions and tehsils, is taken up with appropriate authorities. The DC also directed the revenue officers to verify the Stone Crushers /Hot / Wet Mix Plants for valid permissions and their impact on the environment and on the society.
The ADC was asked to submit the report in this regard by 10th of January 2023. The DC also directed the Tehsildars to make the pan district initiative ‘Aap Ka Tehsildar Apkey Gaon Mai’ a grand success and an example to be replicated by other districts.
Reviewing the winter preparedness, the DC directed the Tehsildars to ensure that all the basic amenities are made available in coordination with the concerned line departments to avoid inconvenience to the people.
The meeting was attended by ADC Doda, ADC Bhaderwah, ACR, SDMs, all Tehsildars, and other concerned officials.
