DC initiates departmental follow-up on issues raised during Block Diwas in Udhampur, Chenani and Ramnagar
UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 14: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai, chaired a pivotal meeting today to thoroughly assess the progress made in addressing concerns brought forth by PRI members and local residents during the weekly Block Diwas sessions in Udhampur, Chenani, and Ramnagar.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai sought updates from department heads regarding action taken in response to the issues raised during Block Diwas. She underscored the significance of public outreach programs, which facilitate swift resolutions to citizens’ problems by actively engaging relevant departments. Furthermore, these initiatives serve as a means to gauge the status of ongoing developmental projects.
DC Saloni Rai stressed the paramount importance of inter-departmental coordination and the active involvement of PRI members in resolving these matters. She issued unequivocal directives to the concerned officers, urging them to prioritize and expedite the resolution of all outstanding issues and demands raised by both PRIs and the general public in these regions. A comprehensive report encompassing pending matters will be compiled and forwarded to higher authorities for their consideration.
Additionally, the CEO received specific instructions to conclude the rationalization of teaching staff within one week, reaffirming the administration’s unwavering commitment to enhancing education in the region.
