DC inspects Government offices in Udhampur Town

UDHAMPUR, MAY 31: Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai paid a surprise visit to several government offices in Udhampur town to inspect their functioning. The DC inspected the Tehsil and other government offices to check attendance, working and cleanliness in the offices and address any issues faced by the public. She directed the heads of concerned departments to ensure employee punctuality for better service delivery to the people.

Later, the DC inaugurated a new water cooler at the Tehsil office. She also inspected different sections of the Tehsil office and emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Punctuality of the office staff was checked, with a stern reminder for everyone to adhere to official timings.

The Tehsildar was directed to conduct regular checks at Common Service Centers (CSCs) to prevent overcharging and ensure fair services for the public.

Additionally, the TSO was instructed to streamline the process of ration card upgrades to ensure citizens do not face unnecessary delays or difficulties.
