DC Jammu reviews land acquisition cases, progress of works under JJM
JAMMU, February 16: Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Avny Lavasa today chaired a meeting to review cases of land acquisition/requisition with revenue and army authorities here in the Conference Hall DC Office.
Threadbare discussion was held on land acquisition cases and the Deputy Commissioner gave directions to the concerned revenue authorities to expedite the process and resolve the issues, if any.
The concerned authorities of defence and revenue briefed the DC about action taken and present status of the land issues.
ADC L&O, Harvinder Singh; ACR, Piyush Dhotra; SDM Jammu South, Abhishek Abrol; DEO, Jammu, Pushpanjali; besides various Col. Ranks Officers of Stn. Hqs Domana, Ratnuchak, Sunjawan, Miran Sahib, Kaluchand were also present in the meeting.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner also convened a meeting of SE R&B and JJM to review the progress of works taken up under JJM.
She exhorted the officers to put in coordinated efforts to achieve the target of providing every rural household with tap water.
The Deputy Commissioner said that JJM is a flagship program of the Central government under which 100 % saturation of functional household tap water has to be ensured by the Implementing agency.
