DC Kathua holds Public Grievance Redressal Camp at Dinga-Amb
KATHUA, January 11: To bring administration to the door steps of the people as part of Public Outreach Programme, Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Rahul Pandey on Wednesday presided over a Public Grievance Redressal cum Awareness Camp under Weekly Block Diwas initiative, here at PWD Rest house of Tehsil Dinga Amb today.
Vice Chairperson DDC, Raghunandan Singh; BDC Chairperson Sudesh Kumar; DDC Member, Rimmy Charak were also present.
The Public Grievance Redressal camp witnessed participation of a large number of people from Dinga Amb and other adjoining Panchayats of block Dinga Amb. The public delegations and scores of individuals projected various issues and demands before the Deputy Commissioner.
Issues ranging from up-gradation of Dispensary, demand of Trauma Centre at Dhalli, up-gradation of schools, provision of funds for playground at Panchayat Dhalli, irrigation crates, and construction of bridge on Tarnai etc were projected by the inhabitants.
After giving patient hearing to the grievances and demands of the public, the DC sought on the spot response from the concerned District Officers present during the Grievance Redressal Camp.
The DC assured the people that all genuine demands and issues projected by them will be taken up with concerned authorities on priority. He also gave on the spot direction to the concerned officers for time bound redressal of the public issues.
Earlier, Vice Chairman DDC Raghunandan Singh called upon the elected PRIs to participate actively in Block diwas proceedings so as to put forth issues concerning the welfare of the public.
Chief Planning Officer, SDM Hiranagar, Assistant Commissioner Development, and other District Officers and Engineers were also present on the occasion.
Similarly, block diwas camps were also held at Billawar and Basohli Sub Divisions where people highlighted their demands and grievances.
