DC Kathua reviews functioning of Revenue Department
Calls for intensifying agriculture census exercise, updating of govt land data
KATHUA, APRIL 17: Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Rahul Pandey today chaired a meeting of Revenue officers to discuss revenue matters here at the Conference Hall of the DC office complex.
At the outset, the DC took detailed review of the ongoing agricultural survey being done by revenue tea. It was given out in the meeting that the Ist stage Census has been going on in full swing in 353 villages while 177 villages are taking up the census task this week.
The DC directed the ACR to share the target time for each revenue village to concerned Tehsildar so that completion of the Census exercise besides uploading of data entries on the given portal shall be achieved by or before end of the current month.
Regarding the Revenue Court Cases Monitoring System (RCC), the DC stressed upon revenue officers to dispose of the pending matters on priority besides uploading their updated status on the prescribed portal regularly.
The meeting also discussed other revenue matters such as the status of online revenue services and implementation of e-office in revenue offices.
ADC Basohli, ADC Billawar, ACR Kathua, SDM Bani, SDM Hiranagar, Tehsildars and other Revenue Officers attended the meeting.
