DC Kulgam reviews progress on Developmental Projects in Frisal, Yaripora areas

KULGAM, DECEMBER 04: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan, today conducted an extensive tour of Yaripora and Frisal areas to review the progress of key developmental projects being executed by the Roads & Buildings (R&B) department.


During the visit, the DC inspected the 1×30 Span Steel Girder Bridge at Odipora. This critical infrastructure project coming up at an estimated cost of Rs. 2.66 crore is aimed to improve connectivity in the area.


On the occasion, the DC directed the engineers to ensure the timely completion of the bridge.


He also reviewed the progress of the construction of the college building at Frisal, which is being constructed at a cost of Rs. 9.44 crore. He took a first-hand appraisal of the ongoing work and emphasized adherence to project timelines and quality standards.


Later, the DC also took stock of the progress on the Chinigam-Mishipora Bridge, which is being constructed at a cost of Rs. 4.46 crore and also took stock of progress made on the bridge at Kujar.


He instructed engineers to expedite ongoing projects and ensure their timely and efficient completion with focus on maintaining high-quality benchmarks.


Accompanying the DC were the Additional District Development Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Executive Engineers, Tehsildar, and other concerned officers.
