DC Kulgam reviews status of various works projects
Instructs concerned to start work on newly approved work projects in double shifts
KULGAM, February 15: In order to review status of various work projects including newly approved work projects of Kawaki Bazar Bridge, Hallan Chiranbal Road, Brazloo NH444 bridge etc, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan today chaired a meeting of officers at mini-secretariat, here.
During the meeting, the DC was informed that Bid opening date for Kawaki Bazar is 19th of this month and the estimated cost of the project is 16.20 crore.
Keeping in view the importance of the bridge the DC instructed the concerned officers to reduce the completion timeline of Kawaki Bazar Bridge to 6 months and start work on it from 1st of March 2024.
The chair was also informed that Hallan-Chiranbal road has been approved under NABARD RIDF with an approved cost of 8.88 crore and TS is pending.
Status of Brazloo bridge and other newly works was also reviewed by the DC and he instructed to start work on all these works projects from March 1st, and mobilize men and machinery in double shift mode to ensure time-bound completion of all these works
The DC during the meeting also reviewed progress made in development of industrial estates at Ashmuji, Chekpora Bemidora.
The meeting was attended by JD-Planning, Zahid Sajjad, GM DIC Bashir Ahmad and Executive Engineers from R&B, Tehsildars and other concerned officers.
