DC Kupwara reviews preparations for implementation of Mission YUVA
KUPWARA, DECEMBER 30: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan today reviewed the preparations in a meeting at D.C Office here for effective implementation of Mission Yuva Udhayami Vikas Abhiyan (YUVA) in the district.
On the occasion, the DC emphasized the objectives of the Mission YUVA, a government initiative aimed at fostering sustainable employment opportunities in J&K by supporting the creation of new micro-enterprises, expanding existing businesses and encouraging innovative entrepreneurial ventures.
She directed all the line departments to focus on the key action points and understand their roles to ensure the Mission’s objectives are achieved effectively and efficiently.
Ayushi took a detailed review of training/demonstration sessions to the nominated Supervisors, Investigators to ensure smooth and proper conduct of the baseline survey under Mission YUVA.
She directed the officers to prioritize efficient planning for conducting the comprehensive baseline survey of existing and potential entrepreneurs in the district. The baseline survey is a critical initiative aimed at collecting accurate data to design and implement welfare programmes of the Government effectively.
It was informed that 60 Supervisors and 1250 Investigators have been deployed to complete the month-long baseline survey starting from 01.01.2025.
Meanwhile, the Tehsildars, Block Development Officers, Child Development Officers, besides, Lumberdars and Chowkidars have been directed to extend full cooperation and coordination with the investigators of Mission YUVA to ensure hassle free conduct of the baseline survey.
CPO Kupwara, AD DE&CC, DSO and other concerned officials attended the meeting.
