DC Leh chaired a review meeting to discuss works under HUDD Leh

 Leh, August 19: Deputy Commissioner, Santosh Sukhadeve chaired a review meeting to discuss the status of works and various schemes under Housing and Urban Development Department (HUDD) Leh.

A representative from Project Management Unit (PMU) HUDD, briefly apprised the DC about the various projects and schemes such as Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0, Swach Bharat Mission 2.0, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), PM-Svanidhi, their components as well as physical and financial progress through a PowerPoint presentation.

DC Leh inquired about the plan for used water management under SBM 2.0 in Leh City and IEC action plan for both Leh and Kargil. 

While deliberating on the issues apprised by the officials, he stressed on timely completion of the physical progress of the ongoing projects. 

He further directed the officials to present him with the two-page brief summary of the projects under the various schemes explained and their DPRs that were presented. 

Further, the meeting also deliberated on lists of works in execution under NHIDCL.

The meeting was also attended by CPO Leh; ACR Leh; EO, MC Leh, representatives from Project Management Unit HUDD and other officials.
