DC Leh convenes meeting on issues of Dha Hanu

Leh, August 20, 2024: In response to his recent visit to Dha Hanu region, the Deputy Commissioner Leh, Santosh Sukhdev convened a meeting today, on August 20, at VC hall, to mitigate the issues of the area with different departments.

During the meeting, Ladakh Police and Antiquities department was instructed to hand over the precious ornaments found at Hanu during JJM excavation as the villager wants to keep it in their museum. DC leh, took a stock of the progress of BSNL tower in the region. It was informed that 2 towers are being installed at Dha and Hanu Yokma. BSNL was directed to complete work of installing and providing service as soonest as possible.

Further, SBI and J&K Bank were directed to open Banking units at Hanu as per the demand of the people. In addition, Health Department was instructed to provide a lab assistant at the Primary Health Centre of Hanu.

The meeting was attended by ADDC Leh, SDM Khaltsi and other officers/ officials from different departments and banks.
