DC Leh reviews implementation of vibrant village program

LEH, July 16 The Deputy Commissioner Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve convened a meeting to discuss the implementation of the vibrant village program on July 16 at VC hall, DC Office, Leh.

The objectives in the meeting included status of saturation of CSS schemes, status of activities in the village, DPR status of new proposals, reply status as queries and status of approved projects.

DC, Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve instructed the head of departments to visit the construction sites next week at the vibrant villages and to submit a field visit report.

Additionally, he said that there should proper query resolution by the department regarding the ongoing and proposed projects in the portal and the replies should be updated on a timely basis. Other than that, he instructed all the departments to conduct activities on a regular basis and submit the report in the Action Taken Report (ATR) portal.

The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Leh; Superintending Engineer, PWD Leh; Assistant Director, Tourism; Superintending Engineer I&FC Leh; Programme Officer, ICDS, Leh; Chief Medical Officer, Leh;  Chief Agriculture Officer, Leh; Chief Education Officer, Leh; Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Leh; District  Sheep Husbandry Officer, Leh; District Social Welfare Officer, Leh; District Youth Services and Sports Officer Leh; Leh, Assistant Director, FCS&CA, Leh; Assistant Director, Handicraft Leh and other concerned officials.
