DC Leh Santosh assesses saturation status of Centrally Sponsored Schemes within vibrant villages

LEH, October 25:  Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Santosh Sukhdeve, chaired a meeting at the DC mini conference hall, with a primary focus on assessing the saturation status of Centrally Sponsored Schemes within the vibrant villages of the region.

Various Heads of Departments (HODs), who provided insights and updates on the coverage status of these schemes at a village-wise level. This comprehensive discussion aimed to ensure that these centrally sponsored initiatives are reaching the intended beneficiaries effectively.

During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need for transparency and timely updates. He urged all officers to submit their updated lists of coverage status to the Deputy Commissioner’s office by the end of the day. He added that the data will help in monitoring the progress of the schemes and ensuring their successful implementation.

Additionally, reviewing the saturation status, Deputy Commissioner instructed all the departments to organize monthly events.

Similarly, banks were directed to organize events focused on financial literacy.

Deputy Commissioner directed the officers from various departments to submit the updated list of Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) that are currently functional in Leh as this will serve as a reference for future planning and implementation.
