DC Leh Santosh Sukhadeve convenes review meeting for UT Foundation Day

Leh, October 28, 2024: The Deputy Commissioner Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve, convened a meeting to review the preparations for celebration of UT Foundation Day and National Unity Day at Video Conference Room DC Office Leh on October 28, 2024.

The meeting was attended by Sr Superintendent of Police, Leh, ADDC Leh, Sr Superintendent of Police Traffic Ladakh , Chief Planning Officer Leh, Chief Education Office Leh, AD Tourism, AD Handicraft, Superintendent Handloom, AD DIPR Leh Murtaza Ali and other officers and officials from different departments.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner instructed the officers to celebrate the UT Foundation Day and National Unity Day with various event. He directed the officers and officials to organize a ‘Run for Unity’ program, where everyone will participate. He also instructed to organize a ‘Unity Pledge’ in every office.

The DC Leh informed the officers and officials that the UT Foundation Day celebration will take place at Eco Park, main market leh. The event will feature cultural programs from different parts of Ladakh, exhibition stalls showcasing handloom, handicraft and food sector, musical performances and screening of achievement film.
The DC Leh instructed all the officers to review arrangements for UT Foudnation Day program.
