DC Poonch reviews implementation of HADP at District Level Committee Meeting
POONCH, OCTOBER 17: District Development Commissioner, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting of District Level Committee here in the conference hall of the DC office to review implementation of Holistic Agriculture Development Plan (HADP) in the district.
Officers from stakeholder departments, including Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry, Sericulture, Fisheries, floriculture etc presented a thorough update on the current status of program registrations across varied components, departmental approvals and project deployments.
The DDC, who is also the Chairman of District level Committee (DLC), accorded approval to 343 proposals in favour of eligible persons of the district.
The DC emphasized that the HADP is a major step towards creating a sustainable and profitable agricultural ecosystem. “The programme aims to empower farmers with knowledge and tools that can help them enhance their productivity and profitability while also contributing to the overall growth of the agriculture sector”, he added.
The meeting was attended by General Manager DIC, ACR, Officers from Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and other concerned departments.
