DC Rajouri approves 07 cases under the PMFME scheme
RAJOURI, August 04: The Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, chaired a meeting today to discuss and approve cases submitted under the Prime Minister’s Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) scheme.
The PMFME scheme is a flagship program of the Central Government aimed at providing financial assistance and capacity building to micro food processing enterprises. Under the scheme, financial assistance is provided for various activities, including infrastructure development, technology acquisition, and marketing support. After careful consideration, the DC approved 07 cases for financial assistance under the scheme.
The DC instructed the officials to ensure that the beneficiaries were provided with all the necessary information and support regarding the scheme, including the disbursement of funds. He also stressed the importance of monitoring the progress of the enterprises and ensuring that the funds were utilized for the intended purposes.
The meeting concluded with the officials being directed to coordinate with the Department of Industries and Commerce and other concerned departments to ensure the smooth implementation of the scheme in the district.
With the approval of these 07 cases, the district administration is taking a significant step towards the development of the micro food processing sector and generating employment opportunities for the people of the district.
