DC Rajouri inspects RDD works in Block Pangrain

RAJOURI, October 21: With an aim to assess the progress of various developmental works and ensure their effective implementation for the betterment of the rural populace, the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today inspected Rural Development Department works in block Pangrain.

The Deputy Commissioner reviewed multiple works, including the segregation shed at Panchayat Thandikassi, which is poised to enhance waste management practices in the region. Additionally, he inspected the completion of the protection work, which signifies a significant milestone in fortifying the infrastructure of the area against potential risks. The inspection also encompassed the B2V road, a crucial artery for connectivity, and the plastic waste management unit, an important step towards sustainable environmental practices.

Expressing satisfaction over the progress during the visit, the Deputy Commissioner lauded collective efforts of the officers and officials involved in the works. He emphasized the importance of working with heightened zeal and adopting a mission-oriented approach to meet the lofty expectations of the rural masses.

The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by the CPO Mohammad Khurshid, ACD Vijay Kumar, XEN REW Zahir Khan, and BDO Pangrain, who provided valuable insights and expertise throughout the visit.

The Deputy Commissioner took the opportunity to visit the Government Middle School in Katarmal, underscoring the commitment of the administration to education and fostering a conducive learning environment for the students. The inspection of the school premises aimed to identify any potential areas for improvement and to ensure that the educational needs of the students are met effectively.
