DC Rajouri interacts with ITI trainees
RAJOURI, January 19: Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal today visited Industrial Training Institute Rajouri and interacted with the trainees pursuing courses in different technical trades.
The batch of the trainees was recommended for the different courses by the visiting officers during the recently held B2V4 program in the district. It is pertinent to mention here that identification and training of the unemployed youth under skill course was one of the key points under B2V4.
The Deputy Commissioner interacted with the trainees and enquired about the training protocol and curriculum. He expressed his satisfaction over the impressive, fully digitized infrastructure, experienced faculty and highly qualified trainers which he found at the ITI.
He also interacted with the teaching staff of the institute and assured full support of district administration to ITI in optimization of the training course. He also praised the students for opting for skill training and motivated them to constantly update their knowledge and skills to stay ahead in the tough competition.
“The Government has taken a number of initiatives to boost employment and necessary training under skill development schemes is being imparted to the unemployed youth to enable them to stand on their own” he said.
Similar training programs would also commence shortly in all other ITIs.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Imran Rashid Kataria; Principal ITI Rajouri, Rashid Sheikh and DIO, Narinder Kumar also accompanied the DC.
