DC Rajouri releases Rs 24.80 lacs as Education Assistance under JKBOCWWB
RAJOURI, MAY 12: The Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today released an amount of Rs 24.80 lacs in favour of the wards of registered construction workers as Education Assistance under the J&K Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (JKBOCWWB).
It is pertinent to mention here that the Government is running several schemes for the welfare of Building and other Construction workers with the objective of regulating the employment and conditions of service and providing safety, health, and welfare measures for registered workers.
The DC also asked the Assistant Labour Commissioner to keep working hard for the welfare of workers in the construction sector and strive to provide timely and effective support to them. He also asked her to educate the construction workers about various welfare schemes launched by the Government for them and motivate them to avail the benefits of the same.
