DC Rajouri reviews activities under Ayushman Bhava Campaign – A Multifaceted Healthcare Initiative
RAJOURI, September 5: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, took a comprehensive review of the Ayushman Bhava campaign, a conglomeration of diverse healthcare initiatives aimed at enhancing the well-being of the community.
In an effort to ensure the successful implementation and widespread coverage of healthcare schemes, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, chaired a crucial meeting today. During the session, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the critical timeline of the campaign, which runs from 1st September to 31st December with a clear mission to attain maximum coverage of health schemes. He expressed his unwavering commitment to leaving no eligible beneficiary behind and underlined the campaign’s various objectives, primarily targeting those individuals who have been excluded from specialized healthcare services.
Key objectives of the Ayushman Bhava campaign include: Making specialized medical services available at the block level, addressing the shortage of specialist doctors. Emphasizing a “Sewa Pakhwada” cleanliness drive for all healthcare facilities.
The Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal, issued clear directives to all concerned stakeholders, urging them to work diligently towards achieving the campaign’s objectives at the earliest. He stressed the importance of registering all eligible families under the scheme to ensure they can access the benefits of the healthcare initiatives.
The meeting witnessed the active participation of officers, including Mohd Khursheed, Chief Planning Officer; Shoket Mahmood, Project Officer – Integrated Child Development Services; Dr. Mehmood, Medical Superintendent; M Sheraz Chowan, Assistant Commissioner panchayats; and Dr. Rajinder Sharma, Chief Medical Officer.
